It gets so lonely

VERSE

As the turn of the century turns full circle
the judgement of the world yes it now rests at hand
The devils extended reign of terror will soon cease,
you can feel the truth by the thirst of the land
Our forebears prophesied while you lied, you may
call it voodoo but it’s from the most high
Yo I break it down like the mountains and the streams, my
knowledge be flowin like a laser beam
And it seems that, many have lost their way, in this land of
confusion with more dismay but I say
It’s time to take our waders off and enter the water, cause all this
waiting may as well be done
I feel that, this ideology created and misappropriated, is way the
fuck outdated
So I, bring my mental manifestations, as oppression somersaults into
cultural inflation, and yesterdays slave becomes today’s mentors, metaphors,
I explore these realms that have become sick as a fad, with scars too deep
be interpreted, debated, abated and not even fuckin related
Too many suckas be walking around sedated
But I don’t trip, cause I took my abulation in 95 and still strive to be that,
true black man that I am, walking in the sands like Abraham

Chorus

X2
I…get soooo lonely
When I’m caught up in my world thinkin, thinkin about the world

VERSE

At the hand of man we could all descend down to the depths of nothing left to
be pondered on or philosophised about the drought is coming, so beware…

Just beware…

know where you are, uh, uh, uh…

Chorus

X2
I… get soooo lonely
When I’m caught up in my world thinkin, thinkin about the world
