Swaziland

Swaziland – an egg-shaped land-locked African Kingdom with a total area of 6,786 sq. miles and a population greater than one million souls – is home to a largely homogenous people that speak Swazi (a language closely related to Zulu). The Swazi have a fascinating culture the highlights of which include Swazi weddings and the Royal Incwala ceremony. For more about Swazi’s and their culture see Dr. E. Powe’s The Lore of Africa, Part I: Three Northern Nguni Nations (Zulu, Swazi, & Ndebele).
